    Whoops

Well i did a great thing today, my workmate drives a Paj and it has never been off road since they got it a couple years ago so i take him to a hill not far from here and its a good climb with about 6 step ups, i have done this hill a hundred times even a couple in "BB" my SIII, well we got nearly all the way to the top and the Disco stopped and all i had a was front wheel spin no bangs no noises nothing so i was scratching my head, i put the car into dif lock/low rang and was able to back down the hill, not an easy thing to do with only front wheel drive (i had a real good pimple in the seat fabric by the time we got to the bottom). I rang MR Automotives and the car will be taken down tommorrow on a tilt tray, Jason the mechanic was saying its a pretty good bet the dif center has blown.

Most likely a diff centre, just ask Matman on here, he broke the centre pin in the diff centre without even knowing
    He has a d2..

Looks like it's time for a locker in the rear

Well we got her back this afternoon, again i cant thank MR Automotive enough they where booked out for 2 weeks and someone cancled and they put mine straight in .
The car feals very different to drive now aswell ???? it feals like it sits higher in the bum, a slight vibration we had before at around 80k's has gone (i thought it was a wheel balance problem ?).
Once again a big thumbs up for the boys at MR

Glad to hear you got it all fixed up

    Was it the diff centre?

Yep it was and iam sure they said it was a center pinion that brock and all the bits fell into the guts and beacme fillings ????. They say it can happen with age or if i had 1 wheel spinning and came down hard causing the end result.

I have attatched a file for google earth to show where the hill is or if you dont have that go to Where is and go to O'Quinn ST Upper Kedron, it runs up behind the quarry, i have done this hill before many times and was pretty easy, its just idiots have been up and really chopped the top section up, if you want a real challenge you come in from the Keperra side i have not heard of a 4x4 making it up but there is wheel tracks so it can be done, i wont try that side from what i am able to see
