Hi Rob.
The shaft is just pressed in (interferance fit).
I screwed the addapter back on and gave it a "love" tap with a wooden mallet while rest bearing on vice jaws.
I think the seals on the bearing would fail on that hot oil.
Refit is simple, close jaw to fit inner race and tap shaft back in.
Still like the idea of placing this assey. in a bag and frezing o'nite to refitt in timing case.
