you can get the part from

Four wheel drives in melbourne
and
rovercraft over in ferntree gully.
My Td5 is dripping engine oil quite alot. Lost about 1.5 litre after about 20km driving.
Opened the bonnet and found out that the centrifuge cover is moving. You can actually lift the cover without undoing the bolts. Found out that the two bolts are not the same. The previous owner must have lost the original bolt.
Can I get the bolt from LR dealer or I need to get the centrifuge cover all together?
Thanks.

Thanks dave. But do I have to get the centrifuge cover or I can just get the bolts from them.
Can you tell me where exactly in melbourne the Four Wheel drive is? Thanks
G'day,
My TD5 had striped the first part of the treads for this cover.
Longer bolts that catch the lower parts of the thread were fitted and it works fine.
Worth invetigating were the problem lies. Hows the "o" ring?
Bolts from Auto stores or bearing supllier.
Cheers, Kyle.
Gday, did mine afew years ago the longer bolts work fine, am sure the bolts are M6 by 25mm but worth taking the 1 that fits to any bolt seller and check.just make sure they are long enough to protrude the bottom of the housing. I ended up drilling and recoiling mine when I took the turbo off but the longer bolts worked fine for a couple years.
Cheers Ean
yep same here, longer bolts to fix the stripped alloy housing.
Anyway, got M6 by 25mm as advised by Ean Austral. They tight much better than the old bolts.
When you say longer bolt, how long is it? Next size after M6x25mm is M6x40mm
