Sorry another MAF question

mine turned up the same( promo priced after market one from ebay), the second wire is not wired through, but if you look closely, there is a sensor soldered on, but it doubles back on itself, and not across the gap. i initially thought it was faulty until i took a closer look and was happy with the build, installed and now my surging has gone away.

I am convinced that a faulty MAF can hide and or enhance other problems, i.e. i still think i have a problem with the boost modulator, although it appears less now with the new MAF.

all good fun, and now i have a spare(that was on my car for only about 8 months before i bought this new one) that seems to function ok, but i am still not 100% on it.

still seem to be using more fuel than i would like though. :/ approx 700klm/tank

Cheapest I've been quoted around Perth was around $425....!!!

Fred Smith was about $240, AMV was $260 is and Brit Parts was around $260.

Beechboro 4x4 was $277 + gst over the counter in July of this year. They have an ebay store and I have seen it for quite a bit cheaper there at least once.

LRSeries sell the Britparts version (not recommended by other LR parts suppliers) for 55 pounds or about $110; the genuine is 80 pounds or about $160 plus a fair bit of freight and a while to deliver. I decided to just use Karcraft - $200, bugger all postage and overnight delivery...

but is the one from karcraft OEM ?...if it ain't, don't bother because their equivalent or better is neither...

OEM or nothing.

yep, OEM. I've always found Karcraft to be the cheapest in Aust for anything LR - don't know why anyone would bother with any other postal genuine parts from within Oz...
