If you are ever passing thru Williams yell out.I have a Nanocom and can check your fault codes for you.

Similar thing happened to my Dad's D2a with only 10,000ks on it and the dealer did the same thing, anyway it ended up being oil at the ECU from the injecter harness..Worth a look.

Hi DD

Grumpyb's links will give you most of the info you need, in summary:

1) dying battery
2) earthing points
3) inhibitor switch (or 'gear position' switch) is stuffed
4) inhibitor switch has been drowned by the air cond drain = see above

Hope it's either 1) or 2) - cheaper and easier!

This has happend to me twice both times after pressure washing underneath the car & the engine bay, once it dried out it was back to normal.
