    It is an electrical plug....
    It is used for joining wires together to complete electrical circuits...

    I don't know what that particular plug is for though.

    AHHHH one of the many electrical connections which we find in our land rovers which have no purpose ,or no idea what its for

    AFAIK that is the loom plug for the headlamp adjusters, not used in this country.

    I wont state the obvious yet again, but can tell you that I used a spade connector into one of the pins, to dip the display on my EGT gauge, when turning lights on!

    I know this is really useless and trivial information, which doesnt answer your question, but I really wanted to contribute something in the current theme.
