Once you know whats causing it, I can't see why it would be an annoyance. Never bothered me. As has already been said the good thing is that you'll find out if the bar indicator isn't working. I assume the indicator in the bar is because it's thought the bar obscures the car indicator from some angles so might be a good reason to know if its kaput

Hi Guys, have the trailer light coming on once my bulbar was installed, however they told me this would happen when I picked it up.
I am interested in teh globe options though, with so many different types what are the best options for LED's and headlights without putting stress on the factory wiring and current flow?
Thanks
Honestly!what`s the worry! there are a lot more serious issues than this.
Yes! it usually happens when a bullbar with extra lights is installed.
The various fixes have been stated on here if it is a worry, but what about the real things...ie have you checked your oil pump bolt, coolant hoses, fuel reg, auto cooler hoses, power steering hoses, oil in harness etc.
the above issue won`t leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere,so get a grip!
Trev.
Just because its a Land Rover doesn't mean things shouldn't work properly! Now that I know what the issue is I'm happy to deal with it as cheaply as I can (ie leave it) but when I've paid a ****eload for a vehicle I expect things to be right.
The green trailor light on the dash works when additional resistance is detected in the circuit ie a set of trailor lights working in conjunction with the normal indicator globes next to the headlights. The extra indicator bulbs in the bullbar will therefors cause the green trailor light to flash when you use the indicators.
A LED draws virtually no current, so installing these in the bullbar indicators will not trigger this resistance threashhold.
Oh, and Trev, all issues hear are real for us, nothing anyone want to discuss about LR's gets knocked back.
