    TD5 Throttle Problems

Every now and then, (getting more often) when I try to take off, the aceelerator no longer works, and the car will just idle, eventually it will start to accelerate with the pedal fully depressed, and then only very very slowly.

The thottle will barely respond untill the vehicle is going about 40km/h then the throttle will work as per normal. (and because i still have the accelerator flat to the floor is revs quite hard.)

The fault can range from moving extremly slowly from traffic lights, to not moving at all in both drive or reverse.

It is very intermittent and sometimes wont fault for weeks and then randomly fault everytime i drive it for a few days.

Its logging no fault in the ECU, and i had the landrover mechanic drive it with his ECU analiser pluged in and we were monitoring the potentiomenter voltages and nothing was out of the norm.

I took it back to landrover last week and they apparently cleared blockage in the auto transmittion and cleaned oil from some connectors, however 2 days later the fault still persists.

Shutting down and starting back has no affect.
    Vehicle is a TD5, auto.

MMM, interesting, the fact the throttle pedal reads ok points towards a crank position sensor possibly, either intermittent, dirty or on its way out, but it may as simple as the Injector harness has got oil contamination in it.

What plug did they clean ? red ECU one by any chance ?
