Thread: My Wife Has Absolutely No Ikea.

    Like most of us....

    I like my Scandinavians on top. So for all our pleasure here is 270kg of Scandinavian goods brazenly attached to our new series 2. Yes, ask and ye shall receive. In this first image we see the many people outside the IKEA self loading dock that did not offer to help me load the 5+ 40kg boxes. As no one did offer to help I was unable to get a photo of them. Actually I paused to help another couple beside me who thanked me nicely before they drove off....

    And here we are awaiting the boat..



    she is all registered and on the road now. We like her. I call her Grover (the land rover)

    Your D2 looks like an exact copy of the one i bought in Launceston about a month ago.
    mines an auto TD5.

    That's right 270kg. SLOW for corners pls and mind those sills. 5 x 37kg boxes, 2 x 30kg and 2x10.

    LukyStu!!! do you have an IKEA of how much weight can you put on the roof of the Disco?

    I can bet that this was the last IKEA expedition without a trailer

    nice car, pathetic furniture.

    hope it didn't get rained on or you will have a bunch of swollen MDF/cheap plywood in 3 months time... and don't expect any of the book cases to hold a full shelf of books without looking like boomerangs in 6 months either...
