    again,
you can check the sensors without a nanocom,,
Do go on, I suspect we can't clear the fault without a nanocom though.

To replace the front wheel sensor which do I need and why.

TAY100060 is the wheel hub and sensor Have seen on Ebay for $295 ($404.41 from a well know parts supplier)
SSW500020# is the sensor part number can be sourced for $130.68 (from a well know parts supplier)

I have heard conflicting advice here.

    Hi Gillie,
    Are your brakes squealing?
I kept getting 3 amigos, cleaned connection to sensor front left replaced pads with bendix and without wheel squeal all has been AOK...

AFAIK that depends on how many faults its registered,,

just the new sensor,, preferably the one piece cable.

I have heard reports that you shouldn't take the sensor out but replace the whole hub but haven't heard of the reason.

No brake squeal or known brake issues.

I did pull apart the connector and cleaned the contacts but it looked pretty good to me and certainly didn't look like it needed cleaning.

The three amigoes have come on once and stayed on. There was approx 275 faults logged when Gruntfuttock logged on with the nanocom. With the fault cleared and the lights reset, a lap of the car park was enough for them to come back. cleared again and then they didn't come on for about 70 km when I pulled into a car park. When the three amigos come they come for good and are on all the time.

I think your Friendly LR dealer will say replace the hub,,,

and just to show my D2 has a a sense of irony,,,,

    two days after posting here-
    http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...ervations.html

    The 3 amigoes returned,,
but on a straight flat smooth road,,,

so by process of elimination I know its that connection thats my problem,,
