Looks like a lot of work has been done, and done well.
Not sure about changing the internal cabinets from hammer finish silver to body colour.
Series III started about 1971 (?) the Dormy has a Series II/IIa bulkhead but a Series III plastic grille.
No checks on the front doors (Series II bulkhead, Series III doors), that could end in tears if the wind catches the door as you open it.

The text mentions approx 830 made but I read somewhere more like 1,100.

I need to do some more work towards getting mine back on the road !

    Hello All,

Thank you for posting up the Dormobile link. I was curious about the motor that was transplanted into the vehicle. I found a Hot Rod Magazine link that describes how they modified one of the 4.3L 262 ci V-6 motors. Accessed 29th April 2021 from, Chevy 4.3L 262ci V-6 - Engine Build - Overview - Tech - Hot Rod Magazine

The engine is described as being "3/4 of the 350" Chevrolet V8.

    Kind regards
    Lionel

Somehow I don't see fitting a Series III grille to a Series II as bringing it into the 21st Century.......
