Thread: My nanocom has issues with my computor

    I needed to need to assign the computer com port for the nanocom and use that port only. Mine is Com4. If I plug the usb cable into any other port it doesnt work.
    I run XP.

    thanks guys i had a driver problem IT at work fixed it so it all working now ,awesome .now to work out what all those numbers are for and parameters are good and bad

    caution though, don't go randomly playing with settings unless you are sure of the outcome, cos you can make the car non functional with the right (or wrong) settings.

    Hi everyone
    I had a similar issue last week where my notebook couldn't comunicate
    with the nanocom and kept asking for the drivers.
    Here is what i did to solve this problem
    First Settings > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device manager
    Here i uninstalled and removed the Nanocom
    I then lauched the nanocom .exe file and Uninstalled the software application
    RESTART the PC or NOTEBOOK
    Install the Nanocom application as x normal instructions
    RESTART
    Now you will find that the Nanocom works on USB settings and not Com port setting
    Good Luck

    yeah no i agree with ya ,am not gonna change any settings i just want to get to know what the good and bad parameters are so i know when somethings going wrong
