That is exactly what is hapening Kelvin.
Let me see if I can explain this correctly in English (I´m not a native speaker)
There is a problem with the MAF voltage. Maf sensor as a default value and a maximum value of 4.9v. What happens is that with more air in the air filter box you raise the v value and the ECU simply cuts the injection untill the MAF v comes down to "normal values".
Solutions:
1 - Turning the MAF off - The ECU will work with default MAF Values

3- What we, at td5inside, are trying to do is creat a small box (a bit like the turbo boost box) that allows this value to go up!
