No worries Madtom & Arragon, most happy to help you as i am with almost any Nanocom owner.
And i will definately be looking into those Key issues you PM'd me about Madtom
It simply seems that for an ACE ECU to report itself as used rather then new, it must have both its "Calibrated" and "Tested" Flags set.
In the function of setting the Tested flag with the Nanocom, the calibrated one is knocked down. Hence the requirement to set the calibrated one afterwards. Therfore this so called "bug warning" is really nothing more than a mis understanding of proceedural requirement.
Interestingly, in our own equipment, we have never provided any such independant and by passing flag setting function.
We simply provide the proper 2 sensor calibration and 5 stage test functionality that seems to automatically set these two flags and thus provides a Used rather than New status.
Fortunately for any owner who is not replacing an ECU for a New one, or an accelerometer sensor, neither function is actually required to be used anyway.
In any event, it will be fixed appropriately in the next upgrade anyway.
I am of course very pleased to have got to the very bottom of this particular aspect, but i have little doubt that other proceedural or functional errors may well exist in the Nanocom software.
It's pretty difficult as the coverage of the Nanocom is in systems and functionality we debugged and got sorted fully near 10 years ago, but non the less I assure all Nanocom owners that we will be doing our very best to track any incorrect functionality down and rectify it as best and as quickly as we can.
