Have a relatively new Freelander 2 and suddenly realised that the headlights are not turning off when in AUTO mode.

I believe that the 2 sensors are looking out through the front windscreen from the 'black box' in the internal rear vision mirror.

Is their some simple way to test to see if it is really a sensor fault? (torch onto a sensor)?
