nanocom fault code
Hi all,
Can anyone help me with a problem ref the "three amigos" I have just returned from the Vic high country and while I was climbing a few hills the traction control cut in as normal and illuminated the dash light for a few seconds and went out as traction was regained, as normal. But if I lost traction for an extended amount of time, say 10 second(ish) the three dash lights came on and refused to go out until the ignition was cycled. When I returned home I connected my Nanocom and found that the code was 13-06, "Pump failure 4. pump running when not activated"
My question is:-
1. has anyone had this problem, and what did you do to fix it?
2. Do I need a new (expensive) pump or is it the shuttle valves sticking after traction is regained and causing the pump to continue to run?
Cheers, Nino

The codes indicate the pump relay or the recirculation pump in the ABS modulator.
Have a look at the troubleshooting for fault 7.7 in the attached pdf. The LR codes are obviously different to those used by Wabco but the fault is the same/similar.
The only LR docs I have seen that relates to the fault are for early D2's. Again the code is different (01.5) but the fault description is the same. The main cause of the fault was a dodgy batch of pump relays. ABS Modulator replacement was only mandated if the pump had run continuously for more than 30 minutes which doesn't sound like the case for you.
The D2 Tech Bulletin (31279.pdf) is attached to this post:
