All ok, it's just that I was contacted by the fraud dept of my bank that's all. I was a bit worried as I thought it was a U.K. Based business, thanks OffTrack.

Just got one a couple of weeks ago myself. Colin was great to deal with. The box has paid for itself already with the hvac system and a suspension error in my RR.
D2 is fine at the moment....shhhhhhh.

These things should come with all landys as standard equipment!

    Cheers

Have used the Instrument section on a couple of trips to Brissy and must say it is good to see the actual engine temp! Have not got a SD card yet to make a map though, it is on the list. But from what I can see the vehicle is working well. Has no stored fault codes or funny readings.
Can you give me a few tips on how to get to the "Instrument" section?

I think I went there once but can't remember how I did it. IIRC it gave some selectable readings in a reasonable size (readable while mobile) font - is that what you mean by the Instrument section?

BTW, I've got the 1st generation evo (without the nice mounting box) and I am probably due to update the software.

    TIA
    Roger

You should update as there are bug fixes and features added.

On current revisions there will be a instruments menu inside the top level vehicle section:
    ie: Discovery II > Instrument

There are instrument apps for Td5 and V8 inside this folder for the D2. I assume there is a similar layout for other vehicle types.

Each update contains a number of fixes and improvements so it is worth keeping up to date.

May I ask the brains trust and guru , I have an 01 D2 but with a new 4.6 crate motor slotted in which I assume is the 4.6 RR engine. I don't believe the computer or any other peripherals were updated so I assume I need to buy the D2 unit, not a RR one?

Also, to clarify, is the Nanacom Evo everything one needs? Why go the MSV-2?

    Thanks in advance,
    Peter
