    Diagnostic help in Adelaide

    Hi guys,

    I was playing with my Disco 2 TD5 yesterday in preparation for my trip to the Flinders long weekend. Firstly I tested low range for the first time in about a year which was successful. Went back to high range all good. Parked the truck and decided I should clear the sediments out of the fuel filter. Again all good, vented the system and it fired up. But now i have the dreaded flashing M & S lights on the dash. I have tried all the usual tricks locking the vehicle and unlocking, starting in neutral and even disconnected the battery. As soon as I turn the ignition to position 2 the lights flash.

    Was hoping there is someone in Adelaide that has a scan tool that i can use to firstly clear the codes and secondly ascertain what set of the codes.

    I am in the process of buying a scan tool AUTOBOSS V30 as I have a few other cars that I would like to be able to read codes. So willing to return the favour once my scan tool arrives.

    Any help greatly appreciated!!!!!

    All fixed

    Hi SiddersC ended up taking it Sovereign in Kent Town and they cleared the code. They weren't sure what caused it but its gone now. Battery has never caused me grief but I am well aware a low battery can cause this issue so am thinking about replacing it anyway just to be safe.
