    Nanocom Error message

    Hello,
    I just received a new map.file and wanting to install it but went to the car and trying to read the map.file on the ecu, no way, tried re installing evo firmware, format sd card, battery was at 12.5 volts dual batteries, wasn't game to try it install new map.file when I couldn't read the one on there. Never had any trouble with this part of the evo before.

    Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong would be great, thanks.

    Hello Gary,
    It is a NNN500030 I have flashed it many times but never coming up with "unable to perform this function" This has happened only since re installing the firmware I have an Evo mk2 really pi..ing me off. I am worried if I try to flash it it might not go it is my daily ride so have to be a little carefull.

    I have a Nanocom 1 with the latest firmware and haven't had any problems reading the Map file but haven't tried to write a new one. I'm not familiar with the nuances of the the Evo but I think you are doing the right thing not trying to write a new file if you can't read the one that is on there.

    Hello,
    well got it all sorted out, brought a new SD card I stuck with the 2 GB, came home formatted it put my new map file on it went out to the car, it read the map first time so, i wrote the new map and everything good a lot more power a big thanks to Offtrack for the technical advise, and to TD5inside for the upgrade map file.
