Alarm goes off 2-3 times a week on my 08 D3, usually on a sunny day, no wind and around 11 am. Bonnet switch is disconnected and connectors shorted out to bypass bonnet open circuit. I've tried a single press on the remote and a double press, but still no change in either selection. Any ideas anyone?

Do you have trailer wiring?
Have you had the D3 diagnosed? (not by a dealer)
Sorry I didnt get back to you earlier Daniel, yes the vehicle does have trailer OEM wiring, but has a Hayman Reese Brake Controller fitted so whether there is a link somewhere. At the moment its behaved itself for a couple of months, so I will keep an eye on it. Havn't been to a dealer. A bit far away I'm afraid. Thanks again.
