Brilliant, thanks.
I ran the dismoto just for a look. First problem is it uses the same .asm file extension as solidworks.:o
Otherwise even though it's for a completely different chip, it's given me something to look at and some commands to learn.

I've contacted infineon support to see if they can provide any information regarding the chip. It's probably a custom mask of one of the standard Siemens micro controllers. Given you have a version with Infineon markings its something that has been produced post 1999.
I doubt it's going to be Motorola/Freescale chip.
Brilliant, thanks. I have two ECU's. The one in use is probably 1999 build and has the Siemens branded chip. The ZD30 one is probably 01-02 and has the infineon chip.
The ECU's appear almost identical in layout and chip ID. But the ZD30 ECU has an immobiliser (which I need to remove to use it) and VNT turbo control in there somewhere.
