    I will certainly keep everyone updated with the current progress on this.

    Right now we fully expect to start shipping to the many who have ordered this in the next 24 to 48 hours.


    In respect of a special discount for Aulro Members.
    Normally established AULRO members who are eligable can claim a 10% discount by following a specific proceedure.

    However, this is currently over ridden because i did state.

    we are currently providing a 20% introductary discount and in fact this happens to also fall in line with an overall 20% Christmas discount we are currently offering on absolutely everything we supply.
    That means that absolutely anyone placing an order for absolutely anything we supply, including systems, hardware, kits, accessories and software licences / upgrades will automatically get a 20% discount during the check out process through the whole of December.

    Glad to hear you have such an understanding minister of finance

    As per my last post.

    After seemingly endless problems and delays, and a huge amount of frantic work by my Admin Angels, a large number of systems pre loaded with the first software upgrade to be released that includes CAN BUS vehicle coverage on the Nanocom Evolution were indeed ready to be shipped late yesterday.



    Despite having missed the regular pick up time.
    DHL were good enough to arrange a special late pick up.



    Today, even by early morning, another pile of systems to be shipped out is quickly growing.



    Of course as jafir's posts show, the software upgrade has also been released on the all New Nanocom-diagnostics.com web site

    Currently there is nothing in this Nanocom software upgrade that will benefit anyone except those needing CAN BUS coverage, and frankly there will be many further updates in quick sucession as we debug and add additional functionality to that.

    This is however a major step forward in developments for the Nanocom Evolution and soon we certainly hope to be revisiting the existing coverage and sorting the few things that have cropped up.

    According to the tracking number, it should be here soon. I'm guessing tomorrow or the day after.

    Quick question, will the CAN BUS lead work on older systems, like Discovery 2, as well or do I have to use the specific cable for the specific type of system? It's not an issues since I'll have both cables, but I was just wondering if I could leave one at home

    So my cable arrived!

    I've connected up and started browsing the menus and decided that I would attempt to see if any of my modules needed updating.... at this point I've realized that I don't fully know what I'm doing.


    I saved to text file the info from each module. I then logged into the genesis webpage and attempted to compare to what I found there. Where I'm getting lost or confused is the Hardware and Assembly. I can usually find the hardware part number in the list, but I am almost never able to find the Assembly number. I'm also not really sure what it is.

    So do I need to match both the hardware and assembly numbers before selecting a newer software file?

    EDIT: and one other question. I noticed that the telephone software doesn't show up if I enter a VIN for an LR3/D3. If I enter a VIN for a RRS (which I believe uses the same telephone module) I of course am not licensed to use. If I log in as your demo account I can see what might be the correct software for the telephone module under RRS, but for obvious reasons you cannot download from the demo account. Is this software left off of the D3 menu by mistake, or is there some other reason?
