"hybrid" auto working as it should, as a RR!
No faults at all; the Faultmate reads it same as the 5L40E as the valve block /solenoids/sensors are same both boxes.
I suspect just few springs/pressures different, but I don't believe there are any sensors in either to read these.
It is still a little abrupt with up changes when cold but all smoothes out after about 3 km.
There's another diagnostic tool out now.
Called "Mongoose Pro",its being done by DrewTechnologies.
Dont know much about it,but its been given approval from LR themselves.

From reading on Ffrr the Mongoose Pro is no good for 02-04 vehicles and has only a very limited cover on the 05-06 update cars. It is mainly for 07+ Cars with the TdV8 and Jag motors.

Just to clarify - are we saying Faultmate Extreme won't allow you to reset height (eg set car at off road height without dropping at 50kmhr) if you were so inclined?
Just to clarify Chris you are talking about calibration of the “standard height” parameters.
Pretty sure Faultmate will do that for you, but someone like Don can confirm.
Iiams is a device that will do this and allow switching between enhanced and standard on the fly. However it only moves the “standard” definition and does not provide any fault reading/clearing functionality.
IID also does this well, you can save different settings and switch between them but unlike Iiams you need to stop to swap between them – only takes couple seconds.
Dealer can also do it; obviously you are stuck in whatever height they set it to.
Make sure you have a clear understanding of what you are doing. When you adjust the Standard height, all other heights change as well – they are essentially an offset difference from standard, so go too high and the Off Road Mode when selected by terrain response will over extend things. With IID it is possible to change the Off Road offset as part of your settings. I’m not sure Faultmate allows that.
IMO the best device for suspension heights was the original Gap product that just did suspension; it operates the same as their current EAS tool (IIDtool without the other ECU functionality) but was hard wired behind the dash.
Faultmate can reset height a little either side of "std".
Appears that with it, you actually move the car to required height, then adjust the settings to that set readings; seems to then stay there.
Cannot change the differences of access, low, std, off road.
Unlike the Classics and P38/Faultmate, where you can reset access, std, high to wherever you want ( within reason).

One good thing about the gap tool worth noting is that it does not require a lap top etc to be used as it simply plugs into your car and you use the display on the instrument cluster and the cruise control buttons to operate it.. for me this was a huge selling point because it means no matter where i am i have full diagnostic capabilities on hand... travelling allot and been an offroad vehicle this was very important to me
