First use of the IID tool... what now

    Hi guys,

got to use my new GAP IIDTOOL today.
The car has no obvious faults but was keen to see what was being stored.

Read all the faults ..... there were 43 which I was a bit surprised at ...

Cleared the faults and basically only 3 have returned.

    IP-Instrument Pack
? 0xBD EBV function fault received from ABS ECU

    PATS-AntiTheft
    ? 0x13 Key 1 - Random code tolerance increased

    TEL-Cell Phone
    ? B1A00-47 (AF) Control module - System internal failure - watchdog/safety failure
    ( at 10768130 km )

Can anybody give me any pointers on what's the next steps in interpreting what these actually mean ?
Most concerned around the one which mentions the ABS... although it does seem to be working correctly

    Thanks in advance
    Regards Darren

I wouldn't worry about them - you'll always get heaps of fault codes build up. You can clear them daily and little things will still log faults for you to read and clear with the tool.

I,used to just run a reset on all faults when I serviced mine - used to get 20 or 30 between services. All really weird stuff like you've got, but never anything that caused an issue - the ones that make the car go 'bong' are the ones to worry about.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

I get those also ( except the cell Phone) and after some investigation I was told to ignore them as they are common codes that don't really have a fix. Live with them.
Re the large amount of initial codes, these are apparently caused when a battery has died, so maybe there was a dead or low volatage battery probelm at some stage.
