IIDBT to edit CCF and change speedo to accurate

Hi all. Is it possible to edit the CCF with the IIDBT to remove the error in the speedo? Speedo currently reads about 5km over at 100. Would also really like to change the offset for the average consumption reading so that it's accurate too.
    Regards, Will

I think you need Full CCF Access to edit the parts that you are interested in. I can take some screenshots tomorrow of the relevant options if you like.

Thanks, was speaking to Tombie on the phone and he thinks that the option is not available for a D3, only for the D4s...

Ahhh, forgot you had a D3 - my D4 CCF might not be much use to you then

I am not entirely sure of what CCF editing is possible with other equipment, as we do not follow others, nor the differences between vehicle models.

This is because we simply provide absolutely no less than 100% of all editable functions in the CCF of all models to our Can Bus based Nanocom owners via our on line Genesis capability.

Even those not owning our, or any equipment, can freely access Genesis with the special demo account we have provided to check out their own specific vehicles CCF settings and see what is actually possible to be modified, which might help in this case.

The URL you need to do this is
    Genesis Home

type in demo for the user name and genesisdemo for the password

You will have to click on Demo and enter your Vehicles VIN number and then select Full CCF edit, and then select to edit your own Vehicles AS BUILT CCF file before you get quite shocked about how much Genesis, knows and offers based on only your VIN number.

I also fitted bigger rims to my own Landy that required CCF correction for the speedo, but also not only massaged the figures in my CCF data for a more correct speedo display but also reset my Auto Gearbox to re adapt the new wheel sizes.

As a side note, I also find the Nanocoms Instrument mode and CSV recording and viewer capabilities quite invaluable.

    I hope this helps
