Nanacom will not talk to ECU

A while ago I was playing around with the Nanacom and went into the security code function. I followed the instructions on the Nanacom, but it failed to get the codes. Now it will not communicate with the ecu.

Will not talk to the engine ECU - trying to get into the engine ecu to check for fault codes.
It was awhile ago when it happened. I will have a closer look at nanacom and try and figure out exactly what I was doing.

You have to turn the ignition to "on" or "om" if you are Buddhist.

Got it working tonight. Went into a couple of other features first and then it started to communicate with the ECU
Have no idea why it stopped working and why it started working again tonight - as I was doing nothing different than before.
    Thanks for the help.
