No replies yet? I have one for my D3, it goes alright. Not as polished as the GAP IID Tool but it is updated almost weekly so the platform is there.

When you say not as polished, in what sense do you mean? As in the user interface, or actual functionality?

    Hi

There is already a post here that covers this new tool.
A post that all late LR owners need to read

I have one and it's really neat.

I meant as in the whole package (will obviously improve over time being a new unit and all).

The reason for my purchase was because the nanocom on my D2 was brilliant. However, being a newer unit, Rovacom IQ (VCIQ) lacks a fair bit of supporting documentation/user guides etc (in comparison to the Gap IID Tool). Also, there are still a fair few kinks to be worked out and you can see this after you gain access to the Blackbox Forum post Rovacom IQ purchase.

In saying that though, the potential this little unit has is promising and I’m fairly confident this will be the diagnostic tool of choice over the next few years.

    UPDATE to above comments

The VCIQ only 'went alright' for like a month or two. Its now a $600 bit of plastic. Its already been RMA'd. Blackbox Solutions sent it back broken.
