    Nanocom One Programmer Issues

I have just received my boot loader for the Nanocom One so I can update the firmware due to issues with the Nanocom 1 not working properly. Any way followed the instructions as per download and guess what, nothing when I try to run the NCUK program just comes up NCUK HID Programmer not found. It does appear in the device manager list under HID devices as a HID-compliant vendor-defined device, when plugged in, shows power on the Pickit 2 and makes the usual connection / disconnection sound. Does not show up in this PC as a device.

I have spent several hours stuffing around with this device and pretty annoyed that at a cost of over $70 AUD delivered appears not to be working properly and only very basic instructions available and nothing about trouble shooting. Some basic googling have found this unit has lots of problems like this.
Any advice? Have tried most things on the internet.
Have contacted the Nanocom distributor but no feed back yet and honestly ready to bin it all as have had it play up since day one.
Looking for any ideas? Has anyone else had the same issues?

Send BBS Guy a nice PM. I’m sure he will be along soon enough to give you some assistance to try and sort it.

    cheers, Chris.

Yeah Done and have managed to get it to update after reformatting the Pick it 2 with additional firmware update. Has not solved any problems with the Nanocom, still wont hook up properly, does it intermittently and wont allow any WABCO ABS functions. etc. Even with just the Engine management is hit and miss whether it hooks up or not. Did the additional earth mod some time ago. Even on instrument mode it is hit and miss. One day will run fine, next will continually shut down after about 5 minutes. I dont think it is the Defender as wont even hook up at all to the D2 anymore either.
    Cheers
    Craig
