Curious to know if anything has happened to Blackbox Solutions. I have been trying to make contact for over a month via email and their forum with no responses at all. I hope everything is ok on their side of the world?

As Pedro stated, and many thanks, I, as an individual, BBS GUY here, am indeed a busy chap as I own and run Blackbox Solutions Ltd or at least the technical aspects of BBS, but that you quote some concern and contact inability is a bit worrying to me as I have a very capable team that is employed and is reknowned for providing nothing but the best in that support aspect.
That being said i just personally handled nearly 60 E-mails in the last couple of weeks pesonally over our Christmas and New Year closure period to ensure that my guys get a duly deserverd Xmas and new year break
There is absolutely no reason that we (My staff) would not have responded after a month of efforts in contacting us. Please PM me any details that you feel I need to investgate further
I personally would also assure you that BBS is very far from any degree of dissapearance concern requirement. We have only just got into our very latest Rovacom-IQ / VCIQ product in play that we are committed to making the future must have, have spent a lot re Nanocom developments and those members of old and so know us well on this forum. I still remember the days when I came here when there was so much mistrust about our taking over the Nanocom, and my much criticised unwillingness to say if it could be saved at that point, and then had so many members on this forume help and work with us sort out the Nancom problems and make it the really great and respected product is is known as today to mutual benefit of vast Land Rover Owners over many years.
I stand with one foot in the past and one foot in the future, as well as one foot in Cyprus and one foot in many other places. including and not inconsiderably Australia. But no matter what, when or where, I, along with a number of like minded staff, I call the BBS family, stand by providing all and any Land Rover owners with the best possible Diagnostic Equipment we can, at the best possible price and with the best support we can offer.

G'Day,
My recorded files from SD Card always have the year 2005 attached!
How can I alleviate this
Cheers
Thanks shack, I could not have put it better, the Nanocom is Microcontroller based, in fact there are 3 in total and it has no RTC (Real Time Clock) which as Shack notes would also require a built in battery that would only last so long anyway.
So the time stamp used in file creation on the SD card has been hard coded to a fixed date and time that was when that particular snippet of code for the Nanocom was first written.
File Naming length is also limited.
While these may be imagined as problems, please appreciate that even having the ability to save files to an SD card is a feature well above and beyond most Diagnostic equipment.
