Discovery 4 Nanocom won't read due to unmatched ECU

I have a Discovery 4 and I recently bought the unlock codes and OBD lead to suit. I haver previously used my Nanocom on various vehicles D2, P38 & Defender Puma without issue. I now have a reduced performance light and went to use the Nanocom to read the fault but when connected, I got a message not all ECUs are matched to VIN (or similar wording) you cannot proceed. How do I get the ECU(s) updated to the VIN?

    I really don't know, that's unusual.

If you know someone local with another d4, I'd be trying it on that before proceeding much further with your own car, at least then you'll know if it's the nano or the car.

    Cheers

Thanks for the reply. I have since paid a professional to read the codes and he had no issue accessing my system. He manually checked 21 modules and all are linked to my VIN. I have also used another code reader and there was no access issues. I am presently trying to access the BBS site but at present both of my log in details are no longer active (BBS and Forum). I will do a firmware update and make sure the unlock code was loaded correctly once I have access to the Restricted Downloads.

    Thanks
