    Nanocom problems.

My Nanocom Evolution has issues. I have been using it on and off recently with no probs, but today it merely says SD CARD error... reboot system.

doesn't matter if I unplug etc. So, I plugged it into my computer and it boots to the USB menu but won't go further. If I touch on the diagnostics icon I get "Error NC_FIRMWARE DISK NOT FOUND.... " which then goes to the SD CARD error again.

There is no SD card in the device.

Before I set off down the BBS website rabbit hole does anyone know of an easier fix?

What happens if you put an SD card into it and startup?

Likely you will get "reload the firmware" it seems to be the fix from BBS.

Then you will need to put in all your codes for the modules again.

I don't have one formatted for it. I suppose I could find one.

So, now it's the "search for the Nanocom id" game so I can reset my password on the BBS site.... Sigh...

Yep after owning 2 nanacoms I lost a lifetime reloading firmware, putting in the code etc etc etc.... over and over again.
