There are a lot of them in use in the UK and europe. seems a pretty powerful tool. as far as I can remmeber it allows you to reset security, and reprogram injector codes as well as a lot of other stuff.

Looks a good unit at 200 pounds + tax. Imagine the damage the uninformed, like me, could do to their engine with one of these

And they dont offer you a chance to blow the engine! Unless you start programming poor quality maps!

Id be interested in a group buy. Will see what this thread turns up first though.

Im still un-aware what it means in LR terms "clear fault codes". The way im thinking is if something electrical is screwed, it shows a warning light on your dash light panel thing, and to stop it from bothering you, you can turn it off. Out of site, out of mind kinda theroy... or am I wrong? I hope so.

Yes there are a great unit, we have sold a few and have stock BA5010 $699.00 from memory...

Did a bit of snooping.
Don't know anything about the website but if it is the same unit the price looks good
