Just bought a ScanGauge 2. So far its a bit of fun but not sure how powerful. It definitely shows up codes (mostly injectors)when my Thor V8 is running on gas(lpg). They are then cleared and don't show up when on petrol.
Happy to play with it on anyone's truck locally. Balwyn Nth.

Sounds like the gas fitter hasn't put injector emulators into yours. When you change to LPG, he's probably just shutting the injectors off and they log open circuit faults.Quote:

What type of diagnostic tool is needed for the freelander TD4???
Is the Nanocom able to be used?
My step Daughter just got ripped for a new fuel pump.
The car still has the same problem, by the way it drives I'm guessing it is electrical, the engine light come on when ever it playing up. Possibly a sensor (CRANK?) it stutters/jerks even on the over run while slowing down. never seen a fuel pump give trouble when slowing down. Accelerates with out drama.
At Idle the revs picks up and slows then it will stall if you give it long enough.;)
