If I still had the unit I’d happily help.

Haven’t had one for quite a while now, sorry.

Just taken delivery of a brand new Nanocom Evolution for Discovery 2, V8 Motronic codes. Still figuring out how to use it.
Since I have both a manual 4L V8 and an auto 4L V8, I figure it was worth the cost.
    Guess I'm committed now...

Gatton-Toowoomba area, SE Qld, if anyone's desperate.
G'day I have also purchased a Nanocom for my 2001 Disco 2, V8. I to am still figuring it out. live Ormeau, Norfolk Village area.
Disco won't start, cranks but no spark & no fuel pump. Nanocom tells me= Fault code P1668-anti theft alarm serial link fault drive cycle A.(signal to high). what do I do now?. Regard Gary

Yes had that thought prior to getting Nanocom. tried pressing switch, has not been activated. keys work fine. tried resetting eka code manually. next I'll replace crankcase sensor, but thinking BCM may be stuffed?.

I'm not familiar with the V8s, but I don't see why the crank sensor would stop the fuel pump, however I do know that crank sensor problems are common.

Try this query on the D2 forum, or technical chatter. A lot of members focus on particular forums and don't look the way I do. You will probably get more answers.

understand where your coming from I had same thought. From what advice I received & viewed I think its worth checking. Normally when I turn ignition on fuel pump ticks, till fuel pressure up.
