Hi Damian and sorry mate, it is on hold till I have all back orders on their way, which will be Tuesday morning.

I have had to put a few new kits on hold because of the large number of orders I received over the Christmas New Year and I had not planned for them.

So I ran out of quite a few components and had to wait till suppliers came back of holidays.

To add to the Amarok delay, I can not find my notes from the from the test install I did some months back, so I now need to get another one in to carry out a second test fitting.

I also have a new Kombi kit which is just about ready to go but it’s on hold as well.

And there is a new D3/D4 Superkit, which puts two 55Ah Optima batteries under the bonnet and the first trial kit of this is also going out on Tuesday ( instead of two weeks ago ).

Again, sorry but there is just not enough hours in a day and days in the week, but the Amarok kit should be ready in about a fortnight.

That's a OK with me Tim, car goes into arb to have the canopy and bar fitted on the 11th, so I'm in no great rush. My plan is for the battery in the back, and a plug to charge 2x 100ah batteries in the camper, which are also charged via a 190w panel and morning star 30m mppt regulator whilst camping. Is this OK?
What battery do you suggest for in the back of the car? Camper batteries are just deep cycle agm's

Hi Damian and while a new distribution panel/box is being developed and will be part of the new Amarok DBS, I am so snowed under with work that it is on the back burner for the next few weeks.

I’m sorry for the mess around but I just can’t keep up with number of orders coming in.

At this stage, I can supply the parts to make up our own set up but I will not have an Amarok specific DBS for some time.

That's fine Tim, I can make my own, will be in touch when i I'm ready. As I said in a previous post, I want to charge the second battery in the back (would like your advice on which battery as it won't see much long distances (except when touring)to charge properly, so something quick charging?) And then have the option to charge 2x100ah batteries in the camper trailer.

    Appreciate your advice.

    Damien
