    correct.

    suspension seat, parabolic springs and airbags instead of progressive bump stops and super singles soften it enough to be comfortable. I’ve driven a few now.

    our build is due to start in the new calendar year.

    Thanks gents. In the meantime, and OT, I have been reading some articles about them. I would not like to change the 37 inch tyres that some of them run. Would be some weight in those. I will leave that job to the atruckies Ian. Cheers

    Indeed Ian - smarter not harder Ineos Grenadier, do you reckon it'll take off?

    The vehicle fit out teams are now considering how to load/unload the spares and have come up with some great set ups there also.

    No. One of 3 in the race at the moment.

    Fuso 4x4
    Isuzu NPS 4x4
    Hino 817 4x4

    Fuso we can have new, it’s the slightly smaller of the 3 by 1,000kg but more than suitable.

    The others are out of production, so need to find a Unicorn to make one of those the first choice.

    All are suitable, the Fuso is a little underpowered in std form but can be enhanced to make it perform.
