The quartermaster was effectively retail at 100k in the high spec for the last 6 months of last year.. not sure where they are at now.
Value for money they crap all over the 79 and probably on par with a 76 once you spend big to make it usable.

The 76 also has way better GVM and payload than any other 4X4 wagon, although they are on pause ATM.

Both the 76 and 79 will absolutely smash the Grenadia in resale values, and no doubt long term reliablilty.

I disagree... you don't need all the stuff.

And for some people being able to buy a more basic vehicle for a lot less money and set it up just like you want has more appeal.

Maybe the Grenadier is cheaper if you want exactly what they are packaging.. but most people will still need to spend when they get it home.

Sometimes Scarry--Just sometimes, I think you would be more at home on the Toyota forum . Rusted on Toyota lovers can sometimes be persuaded to jump ship, just look at the success of the Nissan patrol V8. I think the first year it was released it sold about 9% of cruiser wagons
sales the next 17% then 25% and last year actually beat the Cruiser for a couple of months.
