The accessories seem reasonably priced, particularly if compared to Defender.

Even the Bull Bar is cheap, but i bet it isnt a full bumper version, that we need in Aus.

I still cant work out why the European manufacturers that produce touring/remote area travel vehicles dont put in a well sized fuel tank.

The aftermarket guys will sort out the fuel tank size and the bar no doubt.Particularly if the bar is easy to engineer, unlike Defender.

But where back to the same issue GVM and GCM. Add the usual fruit and your going to be seeking a gvm increase to stay legal which will eat into the GCM.

810kg is not going far .

When will the manufacturer’s learn and provide the load carrying allowance and fruit for vehicles. So much for the 1 tonne capacity. So bloody disappointed.

I noticed in the specifications that the "ladder frame" (chassis) comes in black but you can have it painted for delivery in a choice of other colours as an extra cost option.
"Defender Rust" is not on the choice of colour list.

Well, I would not be to sorry about that to be fair. Allow me to be clear that I am not anti-environmentalist or anything but things are getting way out of hand down here IMHO.

Let me give you an example with the grenadier. In belgium or germany the car will cost around 60K euro's. However, my pretty little "always have to be best in the class" country has invented a "slurp tax" which means, if your car uses a lot of fuel, you pay more. I guess people need an incentive? maybe? but this means that the grenadier will cost over 100K euro's down here for a bare bones simple vehicle... So simply put, I am never going to (be able to) buy one since it is just not economically feasible.

As a second example, a 100K range rover costs 250K (euro's) down here. That's just absurd. Like I said, I get that people might need some incentive, but this way the government is actually pushing me, the enthusiast, out of a reasonable choice.

Alas! I will continue to drive my 4.6L P38 then

    Grenadier

I went along for the test drive with high hopes, but however good the vehicle might be, it is a non-starter for me as the footwell protrudes level with and alongside the brake pedal and there is no space for a long left leg. From what the demonstrators said, the exhaust runs through the space so I'm guessing a DPR to get it close to the engine. So be aware if you are not vertically challenged.
