    Air Malaysia missing.

A Boing 777 with 240 passengers has lost radio contact and disappeared from radar, on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

Seems it went down over Vietnam air space, flight tracker says contact was lost suddenly.

Two hours into the flight at altitude, could be mechanical issue. will be the 2nd 777 in a year to crash first one was pilot error.

First was blamed on the pilot. We've seen that sort of thing before.

The Asiana 777 crash at San Franciso airport which was pilot error was the first ever 777 crash.

Terrible thing if it is what it seems.

Edit: actually it was the second, the first was in UK when plane landed short of runway because if ice in fuel but no fatalities.

It lost contact over Vietnam, not sure if it went down though. There are a few comments that it emergency landed at Nanning in China.

Each airline monitors there flights via various methods one such device is the transponder, other than failing, the lost of signal from this unit would more than likely mean a fatal incident.

    2 loses in a year.

And 3 hull loss in total still not bad.

In which case radio contact should have been made and the transponder would still be operating.

I think the answer is predictable and tragic.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
