Another shot of "Connie" after she landed at the Temora airshow. The organisers opened her up for public inspection, the crowd was unbelievable.

That looks like a 3/4 Storch, probably a Pazmany PL9 or Slepcev Storch
Storch Aviation SCG, Aero club "Roda SCG" Slepcev Stroch MK4
in any case I love the Storch (in whatever size) and if I was going to home build an aircraft, this would be the one.
I was impressed when I saw one take off and land in the width of the airstrip at Avalon
Love the boomerang!!!

I also love Connie, have seen her a few times over the years but have never managed to take a decent in flight shot of her. Great plane to see at night with the fantastic exhaust.....(excuse poor picture)

Pretty hard to say what size Storch it was,it was high up and only made one pass over the airstrip. I used a 300mm lens with 2x converter to get this piccy. I waited for it to make another pass, but it flew off.:)Quote:

Boeing Stearman biplane. This one is based at Cessnock airport and is available for adventure flights. It is one of only 282 built for the U.S. Navy as a trainer in 1942.

Another shot of the Boeing Stearman. In the background is a Winjeel manufactured in 1956 at the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation for RAAF.:D

"Connie" coming in to land at the Temora airshow in November 2013.
Junkers, Frankfurt sitting outside the Lufti hanger, we were working up there for a couple of weeks on a new Flight Planning system.

They used the Junkers (JU 57??) in the old war movie "Battle of Britain". I love that movie and have a copy on file. I believe the Junkers used in the movie were in the Spanish Airforce until the late 1950's.:D

The old warhorse. The Supermarine Spitfire.:D It looks like this one is a representation of one that flew with a Polish Squadron judging by the Polish insignia on the side of the engine cowling.
p.s. I did not take this photo, but I think it is a great shot.
