Where they the plastic kits or balsa and paper ?
When using the larger .049 control line planes I used to get free fuel . My father was able to source the materials and mixup good size batches for me. So I was able to add an extra fuel tank to the plane and fly ( annoy the neighbors) longer.
It was a design published in an old RCM&E magazine. Originally designed for a .049, I scaled it down for a .020.Quote:

When I croak, my daughter said she'll just get a skip in and dump everything in the garage including my lathes, table saws, radial arm saw, drill press, MIG and stick welders, ham radio gear, test equipment.

However, what you didn't mention was that if you went right and then centre and wanted to go right again, it was three presses to cycle through left, centre, right.
I was always impressed that a plane like that with single channel control of the rudder, but no elevator control could do a loop.

I still have the Iroquois and the radio.
