Light plane crashes into Sunshine coast back yard.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

From the reports, sounds like some really skilful piloting (although he won't look so good if the inquiry finds the engine stopped because the fuel was switched to the wrong tank or something like that!)

Fortunately they are a really solid airframe, and with pilot only, as seems to have been the case, have a fairly low stall speed - and low speed handling is good. (Done quite a few hours in them, including a lot of bush strips).

Not quite - any landing you can walk away from is a successful one - if the plane is still airworthy, it was a good landing. That would not seem to be the case here.

Light plane crashes into Sunshine coast back yard.

If I had to do a forced landing I’d rather be in a Beech. Tough as nails Light plane crashes into Sunshine coast back yard.

Hope it wasn’t too much air in the fuel tanks...
