    First F35 home grown pilots take off

    Both experienced pilots, how will they go with less experienced men, considering we don't have a two man version of the F35 ? Is a simulator sufficient training for an inexperienced pilot? Or do I have it wrong.

    The Sims are very, very good. They should not have any problems converting to type.
    Life is just a series of obstacles preventing you from taking a nap.

    The majority of risky manoeuvres and training in both civil and military aircraft are done in the simulator. And that’s a good thing.
    The fidelity and realism is literally astounding.
    My last 2 type ratings were all done in the sim. First flight in the aeroplane is carrying fare paying passengers on scheduled services.
