Air Force Cadets go solo in the DA40

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    Great stuff, Bob.
I was a cadet in the 70's, and came back Senior flight instructor in the 80's and 90's.
Teaching the kids to fly was a highlight of my time instructing. In particular, sending them first solo on their 16th birthdays, when they aren't even old enough to legally drive a car on their own.
The youngest I taught was around 13 years old. So easy to teach at that age.

Some continued on into commercial aviation and the airlines, and I had great pleasure doing simulator check and interview with the same young adults for their first airline job interviews.
