    Some of those things may be funny, but after some hairy moments years ago in the good old US of A, a lot of it is down right dangerous! Along with different accents in different parts of the country, the biggest problem that I encountered was their 100 mph speech!

    The only thing that I did find favourable was the fact that if you were confused by the instructions, then it was quite acceptable to take the controller to task in what ever were the strongest words that you could dream up, short of swearing!
    Try that here and you would at least get an invitation to the tower!
