The vaccine factory we are building in Victoria is pretty important.

It will manufacture all of our snake, spider & other anti venins as fell as the quad flu vaccine which is not only used in Australia but around the world.
    Cheers

How much did we GIVE them with armaments and Fighting Vehicles and costs of transport and training and and and..? For Zero return ?

Bonus would be.... when we next have our 'once in a thousand years central Australian Floods' in the next few years...and East-West links are cut, we'd have a viable replacement !

Disclaimer:- I just want to see the 225 et all back in the air. And more of them. In Oz.
    Me too.

Petter explains why the AN225 'Mriya' can't be rebuilt. And that even if it could be, it's very unlikely.

It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

What annoys me greatly is that they had ample time to move it before it was destroyed.

It only had 3 engines mounted so it was a no go for starters.

Yeah I thought that too as most of the common photos only show it from the port side so the starboard engines aren't visible. I'm pretty sure the chief pilot mentioned that the last engine was fitted a couple of days before and it had enough fuel to get to the company offices in Germany. It's beginning to sound like a complete balls up, followed by an ass covering exercise! But we may never know. A couple of pics.

Apparently it was not grounded for repairs, Antanov staff did not act on orders to move aircraft to safety.

Link to article in Ukraine News -> Just a moment...

Saw a brief reference on the net, that "someone" with $$$s is looking at re-building the damaged 225 OR taking on a partially built hull... Sorry, can't find it again, but intriguing...
