    An interesting yarn.

Anyone got a spare plane and a couple of months to spare?

    Certainly an interesting story.
What I also found quite interesting when I came across the same story in other articles posted on Facebook was the number of people who simply dismissed the story as impossible.
Without reading past the headline or the first paragraph, they declared that it couldn't be done because the engine would need an oil change, the men would need to eat and sleep and that it couldn't carry enough fuel to stay up that long.
Those record setters were a determined bunch and their determination is matched only by some people's determination to publicly display their ignorance or their inability or unwillingness to read.
