    early news has it gutsing at point cook due gear failure, not a big deal, just a lot of money no one hurt.

    If by Pt Cook you mean the RAAF museum, I don't think it was their's.

    The civy registration of the Mustang that crashed was VH-BOB (ex A68-104). A lot of big $$$ for the rebuild

    appears that it was a joy flight, but i don't know.

    It was a joy flight - the aircraft is a 2 seater and the 70yo pilot said his passenger will remember his joy flight.

    Enough to make you cry. I was working at the cement plant next to Tyabb airfield for a few months and we all used to stop when the Mustang housed there used to start up and take-off. Absolutely awesome.
