    Hill Descent Connection

    Greetings!
I have a 1.8l 2000 manual freelander which I purchased about a year ago. Looks like stuff was done in the past to the transmission side of things, I believe during this process the gear knob had the switch for hill descent disconnected (or ripped off). I can not see the original wiring, so the option to mindlessly reattaching the wires isn't available, so I'm left over with wiring it myself. My main obstacle at the moment is that I'm having problems finding Header Joint (K109). Anyone knows where K109 is located?

Its behind the HeVAC unit on the right hand side. The connector number into it is C289 and is a 20 pin plug. Not easy to access.
It doesn't leak oil, Its sweating power

There is a design issue in the gear lever and the wires to the HDC keep on getting ripped out. I fixed mine by getting a different micro switch from Jaycar and gluing it in the right spot and connect it up - never failed again.
