Interesting - I've had the same tyre, but a slightly different profile at 255/55R18, on for 48,000 km (changed from originals at 92,000 km in Aug '09, new Sep '07) and never had a touchy-feely tyre rub... That's running at 40psi normally, 38psi in the rain on open road and about 20psi if trying hard not to damage it off road. Most running was open road 460km commutes though. Spare is original.
